Born in Kingston, Jamaica before migrating to the  United States, Sebàs equally shared his youth in both countries.

Sebàs, whose early rhyme writings aimed at music, changed  his focus to books, and affiliated himself with  The Library of Congress, Vantage Press and Dorrance Publishing before having his first published book in the United Kingdom.

The YouTube Channel Ian T. Sebàs was created in 2015 and served as a platform for an assortment of random videos associated with his personal interest, before its bold transition in 2017 to discuss mainly social and political matters.

The channel’s main focus pertains to the island of Jamaica, its legal framework, politics, education and current affairs; however, topics often extends to issues affecting black people and minorities around the world.  In a less formal setting, ITS and his wife share a second Youtube channel, Ian and Tina, where the duo often produced travel and leisure activities for entertainment purpose.

In 2023 Vimeo replaced Youtube, as their preferred space to showcase their videos.  watch videos here

Ian T. Sebàs and his wife are active philantropists in some countries of North America, Europe and Africa.
